Endgame · levels 70–90
Bossnia
Bossnia is a huge, open map with no corridors, packed with bosses. It is divided into four bands from south to north (swamp and beach, desert and ice, volcano and jungle, crypt and seabed), and the level rises with walking distance, from 70 at the entrance to 90 at the throne. Only bosses and their bands live there: the Echoes (copies of 30 of the game's bosses and minibosses, at the region's level), 8 exclusive two-stage bosses and, on the throne, the Sovereign. Bosses walk around the region and teleport from time to time, so finding a boss again means walking. Teleport and Wing don't work inside, and dying doesn't cost experience: whoever falls returns to the entrance camp. Entry is made with the Hunter's Mirror, the pass, bought with gold from the Travelers in Vandória.
The land of bosses: an open field the size of a kingdom, where the echoes of the great bosses roam with their bands. Teleporting doesn't work inside, whoever falls respawns at the start and the level rises as you move north.
What to know before going in
- Entry through the Traveler in Vandória, near the Market, who takes a Hunter's Mirror and gives 1 hour; you can leave and come back while the hour lasts, and stack up to 3 hours.
- Boss and miniboss Echoes come back quickly; the exclusive bosses take longer; the Sovereign comes back only after about 6 hours.
- Bosses belong to everyone: the MVP prize goes to whoever dealt the most damage, and each participant who wounded the boss rolls their own Bossnia Flower.
- The exclusive bosses and the Sovereign are announced to the kingdom when they awaken and when they fall.
- The boss's tombstone stays in place until it comes back and shows who fell and who was the MVP.
- Echoes give the original boss's card; the exclusive bosses and the Sovereign have cards that only drop in Bossnia.
- Echoes give little equipment, but Bossnia is the source of Stellars, combat consumables and very rare relics from the exclusive bosses.
- In the boss count, a boss Echo is worth 2 points, a miniboss Echo 1, an exclusive boss 5 and the Sovereign 20.
Places
Bossnia
- levels 70–90
You enter with the Hunter's Mirror, from the Traveler in Vandória, and the level rises to the north, up to the Sovereign's Throne. The hour inside is paid, and death takes nothing from those who fall.
How it works
A huge open field, 512 by 512, full of level 70 to 90 bosses that walk and teleport around the map, with no loose monsters. There is no teleport for you: finding a boss means walking.
- Entry: the Bossnia Traveler, in Vandória, takes a Hunter's Mirror and grants 1 hour inside (up to 3 hours combined). You can leave and come back while the hour lasts. Both Travelers sell the Mirror for gold.
- The map has four regions in increasing level ranges from south to north (70–75, 75–80, 80–85, 85–90) and, at the end, the throne of the Sovereign of Bossnia.
- Who lives there: the Echoes (copies of the game's bosses and minibosses, at the region's level), exclusive two-stage bosses and the Sovereign, with three stages. There are 189 bosses, each Echo in 6 places, always with its band of minions.
- Bosses roam the region in packs and teleport out of combat every 3 to 6 minutes; if cornered, they cannot be hit for about 4 seconds. The teleport has a 1-second warning.
- The Fly Wing and other teleports do not work there. The Vandória Scroll is the way out.
- Dying costs nothing: you respawn at the entrance camp.
- Bosses belong to everyone. The MVP prize, drawn from Flowers, Fruits, Scrolls, Stellars and other rare items, goes to whoever dealt the most damage and is still alive, with +50% of the boss's experience.
- The Bossnia Flower belongs to whoever wounded the boss: each living player rolls their own. Parties do not split it.
- The Florist, at the camp, trades Flowers for items (see the table).
- In the Bestiary's boss tally, each boss Echo is worth 2 points, a miniboss Echo 1, an exclusive boss 5 and the Sovereign 20.
