Land · levels 25–32

Desert

Dunes, oases, stone cliffs and a pharaoh's pyramid. Serpents, lions and wyverns guard the way to Khet-Ra.

Land boss: Khet-Ra, the Sand Colossus

Places

Golden Oasis

• levels 25–27

Dunes, palm trees and the most fought-over water in the desert. Zahir's caravan stops here; serpents and golden spiders let no one rest. The Sand Golem has its lair in the dunes.

Valley of Kings

• levels 25–32

Stone cliffs, the ruins of the sun temple and the pyramid of Khet-Ra. Lions and wyverns on the plateau; the amber mines to the north. The Colossal Scarab and the Giant Scorpion also prowl around here.

Amber Mines

• levels 28–31
• interior

Two levels of tunnels with rails and carts, and then the Rhino's Maze, where the corridors cross and loop back to the same spot. Amber gleams on the walls; at the center lives the Amber Rhino.

Pyramid of Khet-Ra

• levels 28–32
• interior

Three floors of offerings, priests' tombs and the royal guard, up to the Throne Room. The Guardian Mummy bars the way; Khet-Ra waits at the end.

Monsters of Desert

17 creatures live here, between levels 25–32.
