Land · levels 50–60

Scorched Lands

Ash plains cut by lava rivers, geysers and the ruins of a fire cult. The road starts at Ash Outpost and ends at the forge where Ignar keeps the volcano burning. Entry requires level 50.

Land boss: Ignar, Lord of the Forge

Places

Ash Outpost

• levels 51–53

The kingdom's last outpost before the volcano: the gate of wood and iron, the field forge and the scouts who watch the ash. Salamanders and ember hounds prowl the slopes.

Ember Fields

• levels 51–56

Ash plains cut by rivers of lava, geysers and the ruins of a fire cult. The Magma Bull grazes in the south; in the northwest, the Ashen Phoenix guards a clearing no one can find.

Caldera

• levels 55–60

The volcano's crater: a lake of lava in the middle, obsidian all around and the altar where the cult prays to Ignar. The Ash Priestess guards the southwest; the Furnace gate, the west.

Ignar's Furnace and Throne

• levels 56–60
• interior

Two floors of basalt corridors, rivers of lava and the smiths Ignar claimed for himself, up to the hall of the living forge: an anvil the size of a house and, seated on it, Ignar, Lord of the Forge. An obsidian niche on the second floor holds the forge's treasure.
